Image and Video Quality

This awesome trail camera comes with the ability to change the photo resolution between 14, 8 and 3 mp.  The video resolution comes in at 1920 x 1080 and has audio.  (Check out the Browning Strike Force as it compares pretty well to this one.)

I've said it before that you don't necessarily need to set the camera to the highest mp setting to get great photos and the same is true here.  Setting it to 8 mp will yield great clarity in photos and will also save your battery space and memory card space.

Daytime photos turn out great with a slight overexposure in bright sun and a bit dark in shady areas.

Night photos also turn out great with the red glow infrared flash.

Detection Circuit

Detection Range: 80 feet

Trigger Speed: 0.2 seconds

Recovery Speed: Around 1 second (uh, amazing!)

In numerous tests done, and I've scoured the internet to get the most accurate data on this, has the consistent detection range at about 80ft.  There have been many instances where the detection range have been up to 110 feet, which is awesome, but I have found the most consistent and reliable distance to be around 80 feet.

The Trigger Speed is around 0.2 seconds is incredibly fast and is consistent with most pictures it takes.  There seems to be a consolidation in the game camera industry and I'm seeing most cameras coming out to be under the 0.5 second mark.  Still, this is what you want in a camera.

The Recovery Speed of the Bushnell Trophy Cam Aggressor is something that impressed me.  The ability for this camera to have such a low recover speed at this price point is astounding.  In most cases for trail cameras the recovery speed is a lot slower the lower in price you get.  Just another of it's great features as well as another reason to buy a trail camera from a reputable brand.
